A new week dedicated to fashion is starting in Paris, the Spring-Summer 2023 Haute Couture Fashion Week. From January 23 to 26, 2023, the 29 member and guest houses will parade one by one. And it's Schiaparelli , led by American creator Daniel Roseberry , which launched the festivities at the Petit Palais. For his parade , the artistic director was inspired by the works of Dante Alighieri, 14th century Florentine poet, writer and thinker th century. The couturier, who, since his arrival in 2019, has restored the brand to its former glory, does not forget to respect the constraint he has set for himself: to honor the surrealist inspirations of Elsa Schiaparelli, founder of the claw that bears his name. On the catwalk, the model Irina Shaik paraded in a black dress topped with a lion's head, Naomi Campbell with a wolf head robe and Shalom Harlow dressed in a panther dress.

Kylie Jenner attended the parade in one of these feline looks , fantastic and symbolic. The entrepreneur and reality TV character was dressed in a strapless black maxi dress with gold lacing on the back, complete with a huge lion's head on the right shoulder.

To complete her outfit, Kylie Jenner wore a snake-effect handbag, as well as gold earrings, again from Schiaparelli.

What are the hidden symbols behind Kylie Jenner's dress?

Since Kylie Jenner was photographed in this outfit on the steps of the Petit Palais, Internet users have been trying to detect secrets and hidden messages behind this choice of look. For some, it would be a nod to her astrological sign: born on August 10, 1997, she is  lion . For others, it would be a tribute to her 11-month-old son, whose first name she recently revealed. The child is called Air , which means lion in Hebrew. For Daniel Roseberry, this lion is a direct reference to the work of Dante and symbolizes pride. The designer explains in the note of intent for the show that this animal head was made by hand from foam and resin. ' Mimicry (is that a real lion?), becomes its own form of surrealism in this collection, so you never really know who created the piece you're looking at - was it nature? Or was it a man? “, explains the couturier. Philosophy is sexy .
