Fancy a new hair color? Gianni Coppa, hairdresser at the R'Factory Paris salon, reveals the trendy colors to adopt in 2023.
While the roux , platinum blond or even pastel were essential in the fall color trends, a revival is coming to the beauty sphere. Here are all the tips from our hair expert to wear the must-have colors in 2023.
Perfect for bringing a little sun to the hair, the balayage caramel can lighten while nuance a natural hair color, even dark. The ideal is to go back to the roots to obtain this natural sunkissed effect all over the hair, taking care to achieve a monochrome to avoid uniform coloring. A little extra if you have brown eyes, the caramel shades will wonderfully bring out the color of your irises.
The advice of the expert: caramel balayage should be done every 2-3 months to maintain the effect. Regarding maintenance, a pigmented mask with caramel shades is recommended to prolong the color at home.
For those who want to fall for beautiful brown hair, bet on cold brown which is shade 6.1, called ' dark blond ash' . Suitable for dull or tanned skin, this color, uniform throughout the hair, helps to lighten while avoiding orange reflections.
The expert's advice: At the hairdresser, you have to ask for an overall color, ideally on hair that has not been colored (a natural hair). To preserve the color, orange anti-glare shampoos and red anti-glare masks should be used. The downside of cool brown: a regular maintenance so as not to see root regrowth (to be done every 3 to 6 weeks depending on hair growth).
Contraction of the words 'blonde' and 'brunette', the bronde hair is rather intended for naturally brown hair. Bronde is the darker version of ombré, a type of balayage which makes it possible to provide depth effects in more or less warm brown shades depending on the desired result. It helps to lighten in contrast and illuminate the face.
The expert's advice: the bronde hair is to be done every 3 to 4 months. At the hair salon, we ask for depth and contrast. The hairdresser must follow a method carried out by points of light in gradient from the root to avoid demarcations.
The Summer lighting is a color displaying light beige shades. The warm, golden shade will enhance medium to light bases, to enhance light eyes. It can be carried out in global coloring on all the hair or in sweeping.
The expert's advice: Summer lighting is to be done every 3 to 8 weeks if it is a coloring or every 3 to 4 months in sweeping. For maintenance, we choose routines for colored hair, with a pigmented chocolate shade mask or a corrective mask for yellow anti-reflective or orange anti-reflective reflections.
