Mama Cax: very young amputee

Born in New York, young Cacsmy Brutus (her real name) grew up in Haiti . At the age of 14, he was diagnoses a malignant bone tumor as well as lung cancer. Doctors give him no more than three weeks to live. However, two years later, she is right leg amputee and is still standing. It will take her three years to regain self-confidence and to have hidden, at the beginning, her prosthesis. At university, she changed her name to Mama Cax. Very sporty, she takes up basketball in a wheelchair . She also practiced athletics and participated in the New York Marathon.

Mama Cax militant for 'body positive'

Despite her amputation, she does not give up her dream of being a model one day. She keeps a blog where she tells her story, displays her love for fashion with always neat and colorful outfits.
