Are you ready to prepare the last dessert of the year? Here's how to make the Mont Blanc by Cyril Lignac :
Preheat the oven to 175°C. In a bowl, pour the sugar and salt then the egg yolks, mix with an electric mixer to obtain a ribbon mixture. Incorporate the softened butter for 30 seconds then mix with a spatula. Add flour and baking powder, mix by hand.
Roll out the ball of dough on a square silicone sheet 0.5 cm thick or on a sheet of parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes. Place the round cookie cutter and form shortbread cookies in the cooked dough, leaving the contours of the dough well. Bake again for 8 minutes. At the end of cooking, remove the shortbread with a small spatula and place them on a wire rack.
Pour the whipped cream into a piping bag fitted with a size 12 tip. In deep plates, place the shortbread cookies then spread a layer of chestnut cream on top. Then place the scoops of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, a few pieces of candied chestnuts. Form a rosette of whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings made using a microplane then with the meringue crumbled by hand.
Here's something to end the year 2022 with greed! It is also a good way to Cyril Lignac to conclude this Christmas session of All in the Kitchen .
