In 10 years, Claudio Capéo has not been idle! 5 albums, a remarkable participation in The Voice in 2016 and father of two children, he has no time to be bored. Soon, we will find him in the program 'Our unknown lands'. This local version takes place in France for the greatest pleasure of the singer...
After his stint in the tele-hook of TF1 where he distinguished himself in Florent Pagny's team, the singer's career took on a new dimension. He released a new album the same year, in 2016, and met with enormous success thanks to the hit A man standing . The songs remain five weeks at the top of sales in France and the album is crowned platinum disc. Since then, Claudio Capéo has had successes, albums and tours. A fairly dense pace, especially for a father of young children. And since he likes to do things, he is 100% in everything he does up to a point.
The singer participates in the show Our Unknown Lands broadcast on October 25 on France 2. Unlike its big brother, Meeting in unknown land , this version does not leave our borders. Claudio Capéo did not discover the Island of Socotra in Yemen or the plains of Siberia, he stayed in the Vercors massif. This trip to a less exotic country suited him very well, as he told our colleagues from TV Star : ' My goal was to let go of everything, knowing that I've been on the road or in the studio for 7 years. (…) I had a fear at the start, which was that of not seeing my children [César, 8 years old and Roméo, 3 years old, editor's note] for three weeks. When I was told it was in France and only for seven days, I was reassured .'

This professional frenzy made him crack. Claudio Capéo was the victim of a burn-out as he tells in 2021 on RTL : ' After three years, I realized that I had stopped sleeping, seeing my family… I stopped thinking about myself, I stopped thinking about the man I was becoming, and was I becoming a good person or not. I forgot the main thing '. And this malaise reverberated on his life as a father with his eldest son, César, as he told in TV Star : ' When we are unhappy, we pass it on. I did not understand myself at all and suddenly, he did not surround me either. But the confinement allowed us to find each other and even to find each other . '

He did well to participate in this France 2 program. He did not stray too far from his boys, 8-year-old César and 3-year-old Roméo, nor from his wife Aurélie Willgalis, as he wished. And when he came back, he was very inspired. He says he wrote lots of songs when he got home. His next album is called ' Compass and is scheduled for November 25. According to Purecharts ' it's an album that wants to be rich in emotions, in dance, in celebration, in everything '. An entire program !
