Bocuse d'Or : le "bien-manger" au coeur de la compétition

The January 22 and 23, 2023, Lyon will once again host the Bocuse d'Or final. This year, 24 countries will be vying for the coveted title.

A few weeks before the grand finale, the candidates have finally discovered all the proposed themes. If we already knew that the platter theme would do honor to the monkfish , the Bocuse d'Or organizing committee has just unveiled a second event named 'Feed the kids' (feed the children) where each team will have to produce a squash menu for children . Several varieties will be made available to them and candidates will have to prepare a vegetable cold starter, a hot dish including an egg and a dessert in the spirit of those served in the restaurant . Textures, flavors, colors... The participants will have to use their imagination to convince the jury, supported for the occasion by children from all over the world. 'The Bocuse d'Or seeks above all to agree with the current societal issues . After the takeaway event in 2021, this year we have decided to highlight education in healthy eating for children. Our first tastes are formed from an early age, so culinary education is a key issue in which cooks play a central role', assured Régis Marcon, president of the International Organizing Committee of the Bocuse d'Or.
